Summercore 2013
Summercore NYC (July 15 - 19) hosted by Horace Mann School

A unique 5-day marathon journey through hardware, software and humanware, Summercore is designed to energize teachers of all ages and all stages. Over 3,500 independent school teachers and administrators have attended Summercore since its inception in 1985. Because we divide session groups based on learning style and skill level, this program works for both novices and experts and everyone in between. Through lectures, round-table discussions, numerous hands-on skill sessions and experienced teaching, Summercore has empowered each and every participant to return to her/his school to become part of the essential humanware needed to achieve meaningful integration.

Topics included are Google Drive, SMART Boards, multimedia and digital storytelling, discovering curriculum-perfect web sites, blogs, wikis, podcasts, and designing lessons plans to effectively integrate technology, and practical strategies for technology use. And, of course, iPads.
